New
flyovers okayed for Gurgaon expressway. (HT

expressway between Dhaula Kuan and Gurgaon
will have a single, long flyover from Rao
Tula Ram Marg till Palam crossing. The
National Highways Authority of India has
decided to amend its plans and construct
just one flyover, instead of two. |

GURGAON'S Metro dream has revived with the
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)
submitting the alignment plans and section
drawings for the Qutab Minar- Gurgaon Metro
corridor to the Haryana authorities. The
corridor will be 22.05-km long and will have
18 railway stations: Qutab Minar, Rai
Pithora depot, Ambedkar Colony, Chattarpur,
Sultanpur, Ghitorni, Sarvodya School and
Arjan Garh in Delhi and Garden Estate,
Sikanderpur, DT City Centre, IFFCO Chowk,
Sushant Lok, Greenwood City, Residency
Greens, Jharsa Village, Sohna Road and
Sector 48 in Gurgaon. The entire stretch
will be on an elevated
track.
